This publication archives the personal stories, practices, and philosophies of creatives in 4 primary categories: Fine Arts, Culinary Arts, Designers, and Scholars & Curators. To give insight into the lives of these creatives, Civil Art created two primary categories for them to explore: Artifact and Day-in-Life. In Artifact, creatives expand upon their influences, conceptual goals, and methodology. In Day-in-Life, they discuss their creative spaces and the environments that have shaped their craft.

This book extends the impact of Night Market, our charitable auction and exhibition with Christie’s and Apex for Youth, and brings together a multigenerational mix of API artists, culinary artists, scholars, and creators. This publication is a permanent night market, immortalizing the thoughts of API creatives and thinkers to facilitate ongoing exchange with generations to come.
